Chain Attraction

August 2023 – October 2025

Chain Attraction is a 2D puzzle-platformer video game originally developed as part of a junior-level class I took at Bradley University. The first version of the game was developed by a team of 11 people. Later on, the game was revised by a smaller team to be prepared for FUSE, a Bradley University student project showcase, and to be published online with improved levels and gameplay. In both stages, I acted as a general designer and developer, directly creating and adjusting content for players to enjoy.

Every level in Chain Attraction received significant changes and testing during the development span of the game to ensure challenges were fair and fun. During weekly meetings with the development team, my main role was iterating upon level designs and fine-tuning mechanics to improve the gameplay experience for players. I regularly spoke and collaborated with other designers to suggest and act on plans for adjusting the game while constantly testing the game myself and making notes of areas of improvement.
